Colombia. The Colombian firm Arquitectura e Interiores (AEI) received for the second time the award of the International Association of Interior Design (IIDA) in the Corporate Spaces category with the Globant Bogotá office project.
Marta Gallo, project director and founder of AEI said in this regard that "for us it is a pride to add this award to the achievements of the company in its 19 years and represent our country. We have always considered that Colombian architecture is at the height of many other countries in the world, so we must make it known."
The winning project, Globant, designed and built by AEI Arquitectura e Interiores, was designed to create offices with open spaces that encouraged employee interaction, creativity and innovation.
The design is inspired by the concept of a technological system that carries and communicates information between different components and was replicated with architectural elements through an infrastructure network that interconnects the rooms with the workstations and all the spaces of collaboration and entertainment.
This year marks the third annual edition of the IIDA-led competition for the best interior designs in Latin America and the Caribbean.
