International. Global IT service provider Ascendum Solutions announced the purchase of the technology and business assets of FMS, a subsidiary of Turner Construction Company. The acquisition includes, among other things, the rights to a construction management software (c.docs) and to a Facility Management software (Facilify).
As Ascendum explained, this agreement helps expand its portfolio of Microsoft SharePoint-based software products used to help construction and facilities management companies improve their performance, reduce costs and drive return on investment.
Rich Kurz, general manager of Ascendum Solutions, said in a statement that "we are very excited to add these two products to our portfolio. We look forward to incorporating our intellectual property to enhance these products as well as working with Turner and other customers to better meet their needs."
