Spain. Bankia, a Spanish company in the banking sector, chose the ISS service provider as the winner of a five-year contract for the provision of different Facility Management services in its 1,950 offices in Spanish territory, worth 100 million euros.
To comply with the commitments acquired in the contract, after the signing of this agreement between 3,300 and 3,500 ISS workers will be assigned to the different Bankia offices to take care of the cleaning services of all the buildings and network of offices of said company, its maintenance, the help-desk service, gardening, pest control, environmental hygiene, among other general services that will be added over time.
"It is a pride to have been able to seal this alliance since it is the first project of integration of services in a financial institution in Spain," said the executive president of ISS Spain, Joaquim Borrás.
