Colombia. The Colombian Council of Sustainable Construction announced the appointment of Laura Gallego as the new regional director of this organization. Laura is a Political Scientist from EAFIT University, Master in Administration and Master in Government and Public Policies.
In addition, Gallego has served as a public official of the Government of Antioquia during the administration of Sergio Fajardo Valderrama in the Comprehensive Plan for the Development of Urabá, and worked in the areas of development and sustainable territorial planning, new economic vocations and regional planning.
She has also been a consultant and researcher at the Center for Urban Studies - Urbam EAFIT, the EAFIT Center for Political Analysis, the IDB, UNDP and other public and private organizations on the issues of government, sustainable development, public policies, land use planning, public administration and urban planning.
