Aertec Solutions, a multinational engineering and consulting company specialized in aeronautics, published an interview with Guillermo Pérez Moralesm, Technical Director and Commercial Manager for Spain of Grupo Eulen in Auxiliary Services, in which this professional shares his vision on the discipline of Facility Management in the airport sector.
In the first place, Pérez said that "it is a reality that the Facility is currently a key player in practically all sectors of the economy and, of course, in the airport sector. It has been part of it for many years as a tool that generates value in projects that require the management of human, material and technological resources".
He added that "the Facility plays a fundamental role in the airport sector since, well focused, it must be able to provide agile, safe and effective responses to each of the key factors of an airport. It becomes, therefore, a tangible tool and generator of value for the sector".
Finally, the executive pointed out that he sees enormous growth potential for the Facility Management industry in the world. "How do I see the Facility 5 years from now? I see it fully integrated into the airport value chain, mimicked with the needs of users and with a clear objective: the improvement of the Customer experience. Let's not forget that everything revolves around this and that's how we have to understand the Facility companies".
