Colombia. TOTVS, a company specialized in the development of business management software in Latin America, participated in the Brasil Tecnológico 2015 event, which was held in Bogotá, Colombia, on July 22 and 23, 2015 at the Marriott Hotel Bogotá. It brought together professionals and managers representing Brazilian companies dedicated to different industries.
Brasil Tecnológico is an event focused on the commercial promotion of Brazilian companies and productive sectors in Colombia, based on technology; ideal scenario to create business opportunities for Brazilian companies working in Colombia and others interested in exploring the local market. The event is aimed at strengthening and positioning the image of Brazil as a producer of advanced technologies in various areas and is composed of various thematic seminars and exhibition of innovations.
"We see in Colombia a strategic commercial partner, which provides excellent business opportunities in different sectors thanks to the fact that the country combines a large gross domestic product with forecasts of high growth rates for the coming years. According to data from the IMF (International Monetary Fund), the average growth rate of Colombian GDP between 2011 and 2018 will reach 4.4%," said Martín Cayón, TOTVS Director North of Latin America.
On this occasion TOTVS, with the aim of increasing its relationships and marking a presence in Colombia, was part of the event through an active participation in the business roundtable and through a session where the TOTVS software specialized in the manufacturing industry was promoted with the talk "How to produce more and better with the same resources, generating more value for the business?"
