. CommScope, a communications infrastructure provider, completed the previously announced acquisition of the telecommunications, Enterprise and Wireless businesses of fiber optic connectivity for wired and wireless networks, TE Connectivity.
This transaction, valued at approximately $3 billion, strengthens CommScope's positioning by providing it with better resources to meet the growing demand of networks worldwide for increased bandwidth. With this transaction, the company also expects to improve its ability to serve customers in four main areas: Internal and external wireless networks; data centers and headquarters; connected and efficient buildings; access and backhaul networks.
