International. The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is preparing for its annual conference, the World Workplace Conference and Expo, in the US city of Denver, Colorado, on October 7 and 9. The main theme of this year's conference, which marks the organization's 35th anniversary, will be "Collaborate and Innovate."
To open the event, IFMA will have Josh Linkner as Keynote speaker. Linkner is a renowned entrepreneur and technology investor, author of best-selling books, and contributor to Inc. Magazine, Forbes, and Detroit Free Press.
Linkner's keynote call, "Harnessing Innovation: Turning Raw Ideas into Powerful Results," will offer practical advice to Facility Managers on how to increase their creative exercise and deliver better results.
For the closing conference IFMA will feature author and happiness specialist, Neil Pasricha, who will speak on "How to Be Wonderful at Work". The goal of this talk is to challenge attendees to raise expectations of themselves and commit to the habit of happiness each day.
