AMX, already fully integrated into the Harman group, was invited to participate in the SIA 2015 integrators' conference, held between October 2 and 3 in Barcelona, which unveiled its new range of SVSi solutions specialized in transmitting AV over IP networks. The event was organized by Earpro to present the novelties in integration solutions to its customers through talks, workshops and networking.
AMX took the opportunity to show the more than 200 attendees its novelties in control, connectivity and collaboration through a talk, and through a workshop, demonstrate the advantages offered by the new SVSi range. SVSi is the new AMX product family focused on using the IT network, present in all offices and business buildings, to also carry Audio and Video.
This family includes:
- AV over IP encoders and decoders, optimized for maximum performance and flexibility at a reasonable price.
- Audio transmitters/receivers, which add the possibility of carrying distributed audio over existing LAN and WAN networks.
- Network video recorders, with which hours of high-definition content can be recorded over an Ethernet LAN.
- Window processors, capable of handling multiple IP video streams in real time and using only network ports.
- Control system, which as SVSi products are really IP is easy to control any device, anywhere and anytime.
Apart from the novelties of AMX, the attendees of the SIA were able to enjoy five other professional workshops and talks where they discussed, among other topics, the new AV Integration solutions, the management of the radio spectrum, the evolution of the digital audio process, lighting design tools, content management and LED technology. All under the slogan Integrating by System.
The event was a success of organization and attendance where both speakers and attendees enjoyed a pleasant exchange of ideas, experiences and knowledge. The event was held on November 10 and 11 at the Alimara Hotel in Barcelona.
