From February 22 to 26, ASHRAE will host the HVAC Design Courses, Level 1 – Essentials, and Level 2 – Applications, which will be held in Houston, Texas.
Level 1 (February 22-24) seeks to provide intensive and hands-on training for air conditioning, heating and ventilation designers, as well as other professionals involved in industry services.
The course indicates that in these three days attendees will gain practical skills and knowledge in design and maintenance of HVAC systems that can be put into practice immediately.
Among the outstanding topics of the course are: Fundamentals, calculation of heating/cooling load, selection of HVAC systems, systems and components, cooling system, basic design of hydraulic systems and air systems, control of building automation systems.
Level 2 (February 24-26) is aimed at designers who are experts in HVAC design and for those who took Level 1 the previous two days. This course will deeply analyze standards 55, 62.1, 90.1, 189.1 and the Advanced Energy Design Guide.
