Colombia. A few days ago the construction of BD Bacatá, the tallest skyscraper in Bogotá and designed by the Spanish office Alonso & Balaguer, managed by BD Promotores Colombia and built by Prabyc Ingenieros, was completed.
With two towers of 56 and 67 floors, the skyscraper had already surpassed in height in June 2015 the Colpatria tower, until then, the tallest building in Colombia, reaching 196 meters and inaugurated in 1979.
With a total budget of 750 billion Colombian pesos (USD 2,266 million), BD Bacatá expects to open its doors by the end of 2016.
The construction process entered the final phase, after the completion of its structure, now continues the part of adaptation of finishes in its luxurious interiors.
The first floors of the complex and which is shared by the two towers belongs to the shopping center, which likewise below street level, has seven underground floors of parking.
While the north tower, of (56 floors), with a large area will be in turn divided by apartments and another part in smaller percentage with the offices.
