Multitouch KNX Pro offers its customers the functional versatility of a thermostat and a multifunction pushbutton along with the intuitive operation capability of a smartphone, making it easy to control comfort functions in rooms. In addition, it has been specially adapted for the Elegance series of mechanisms.
Technology, especially that aimed at the end user, is becoming simpler and more intuitive every day. Fulfilling these characteristics, Schneider Electric launches the Multitouch KNX Pro, which can be combined with the new KNX Pro button, making available to the market two user interfaces that ensure the control of rooms in an intuitive and adaptable way for the management of lighting, air conditioning and blinds, among numerous other functions, so the need for different devices is eliminated.
Thus, the Multitouch KNX Pro has a sensitive contact touch screen for the control of lighting, blinds, temperature and scenes. The solution combines the functional versatility of a thermostat with a multifunction pushbutton that allows usability as intuitive as that of a smartphone or tablet, since you can move from one screen to another simply by sliding your finger.
In addition, it provides several display modes: circular, vertical and a combination between the two, which allows the screen to be optimized according to the needs of the user. In the circular screen mode, up to eight main functions can be displayed, while in the vertical screen, the figure rises to 15. It is also possible to configure up to four functions per page, reaching 32 functions. It also incorporates a gesture sensor capable of activating the most used functions with a simple hand movement, without touching the screen. The sensor recognizes whether the direction of movement is vertical or horizontal for maximum handling comfort.
Planning and commissioning the new KNX user interface is very simple. Only two references are required for the installation of the solution in all rooms according to the number of functions required. The assignment of the desired functions can be implemented at the time of commissioning, which has a special express commissioning function for quick programming. This feature allows you to configure the frequent functions in the ETS much faster.
