International. Delta recently announced that it has successfully implemented its construction automation solutions in the offices of Telecom Italia, Italy's largest telecom operator and one of Europe's leading carriers.
The intelligent solution, which includes the construction of Delta's Cloud-Ready Energy Management System (BEMS), enables real-time automation and remote monitoring and green control of the building's heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system to achieve annual electricity savings of more than 12% and an estimated payback period of less than 2 years, as well as an estimated annual reduction in carbon emissions of up to 573 tons.
Similarly, the LWEB-900 management system (developed by LOYTEC electronics GmbH, a Delta Group company) was launched to collect and analyze data from the centralized air conditioning system, as well as variations in parameter values such as ambient temperature, humidity, enthalpy, occupancy, air handling units (AHU), fan coils, chillers and heat generators to allow significant energy savings, among others.
