Ferrovial Services has purchased 100% of the capital of the logistics, quality control and pre-assembly of components for the automotive industry Grupo Maviva, according to the company, which indicated that this operation allows it to expand its offer in the industrial services market and strengthen itself as an integral provider of services in this sector.
The Maviva Group began its activity in 1958 and currently employs 500 people in nine workplaces in Spain and one in Portugal. Last year, the firm earned 21.3 million euros and maintains in its client portfolio companies such as PSA Group, Saint-Gobain, Delphi, Gestamp, Antolin or Continental.
Ferrovial Services pointed out that this company will provide technical capabilities to penetrate the industrial market with value-added services, process engineering and operational excellence and stressed that this operation joins its acquisitions made in 2016 (Siemsa and Biotrán).
The Ferrovial subsidiary currently offers services to private customers such as facility management, the installation and maintenance of analysis and control equipment or the engineering and assembly of electricity, gas and water transmission networks, among others.
