International. 3M, through its Property Maintenance Department, announces that its 3M Scotch-Brite Clean & Shine floor disc has been recognized during the ISSA Show North America 2018, recently held in Dallas (United States).
These awards, which are part of the ISSA Innovation Award Program, are a platform to reward the most innovative products in the cleaning industry.
The 2018 ISSA Innovation of the Year Award went to Hydro Systems' EvoClean, a commercial laundry unit based in Venturi with minimal maintenance.
However, the jury has also recognized with an Honorable Mention Award the innovation and performance of four products, among which are the Scotch-Brite Clean & Shine floor disc from 3M.
"The Scotch-Brite Clean & Shine disc is a step forward in soil maintenance," says María Gómez, Head of Marketing and Communication for 3M's Cleaning & Workplace Safety division. "Benefiting from our innovative technology, this 'two-in-one' disc is an efficient alternative to traditional chemicals. It is distinguished by its longer duration – at least 30,000 square meters – and the elimination of black marks more quickly, as well as by a gradual increase in brightness over time."
Clean and bright floors in one pass
Floor care usually requires cleaning and polishing processes to ensure a perfect finish. With this in mind, 3M has developed 3M Scotch-Brite Clean & Shine Pad, a double-sided disc that cleans and polishes in a single pass. It is especially suitable for low-speed scrubbing machines.
With this "two-in-one" disc, professionals reduce or eliminate the need for polishing, thus saving time and money without compromising the result.
With the only help of water, the Scotch-Brite™ Clean & Shine disc can be used on a wide variety of floors, such as VCT, vinyl, rubber, marble, stone, terrazzo and cement.
