In times of crisis and globalization, but above all, of technological revolution, no venue or commercial establishment is as expensive to sustain and manage as movie theaters and theaters.
Precisely this is the dilemma in which the cinemas of Spain are currently after the closure of several of them. Some of the most traditional cinemas in the country have had to close their doors due to the low profitability to which they have been subjected in recent years.
In this context, an initiative was recently born that was conceived in the Spanish citizenship, in the people concerned about the future of their cinemas. This is the proposal #YoTengoUnCine, which seeks to avoid the closure of cinemas that still project films in their original version and that are not settled in shopping centers by collecting economic donations from the Spaniards.
The maximum amount of 50 euros was established to participate in the maintenance of these enclosures.
The battle phrase of this initiative is "Maybe you never travel to the Seychelles, but instead you can have a cinema" with which it is intended to put a face to the problem of the massive closure of classic cinemas in the Iberian country.
