From this August 21 and until next 23 of the same month, the twenty-fourth edition of the International Congress of Energy Saving will be held at the Expo Guadalajara venue. The program has been designed with 11 keynote speeches that will be chaired by representatives and professionals from the United Kingdom, the Trust for the Saving of Electric Energy, the Federal Electricity Commission, SIAPA, Condumex and Conuee.
According to the engineer Alonso Lizaola de la Torre at a press conference, there will also be 50 technical presentations that will be given by professionals in the field of electrical energy saving.
Six cultural activities will also be offered that will have as their central theme the history of Guadalajara, tequila, bullfighting, karaoke night and a gala dinner as the closing of the event.
The fair will involve 40 private companies as well as universities and higher education institutions, the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry and the ACOEO.
Engineer Lizaola also reported that Congress will have the mission of initiating the creation of a state energy agency and will also talk about energy reform.
