The virtual company pioneer in the reservation of hotel nights online Booking.com is premiering service; it's Booking.com tonight.
In team with part of the organization The Priceline Group, the online company launches this application that will serve everyone and help book hotels at the last minute for a trip or an unplanned stay.
It offers rooms to sleep the same night of the reservation with special offers up to 50% of the cost when compared to normal rates and a wide variety of options thanks to the large number of establishments affiliated with the company.
Booking.com has reported that the application is designed to be used on various channels; iPhone, iPod Touch and can be downloaded for free through the Apple store, iTunes.
According to Darren Huston, CEO of the company "Booging.com Tonight reveals the global inventory of our company, with a list of more than 200,000 hotels and accommodations in 165 countries, displaying the best prices regardless of the city where the user is located".
As shown by figures published by the organization, in 2011 alone, Booking customers executed more than $1 billion in transactions via mobile devices. This was the reason that led them to the development of the application that they launch today on the market.
"We found that 40% of hotel reservations via mobile phones requested check-in on the same day, especially in cities such as Los Angeles, New York, London, Hong Kong, Dubai, among others," explained the executive.
