It is expected that in the next two years the hotel sector in Paraguay will report an annual increase of 15%, according to the Minister of Tourism of that country, Liz Crámer, in statements to the local newspaper La Nación.
As a reason for this positive behavior of the sector, the official pointed to the increase in the number of large international events to be held in the coming years, which has encouraged the construction of new properties.
Speaking about the future prospects of this sector of the economy, Crámer pointed out that "there is no talk of a trend, but there are signs that the sector is spreading."
In addition, he stressed that the hotel industry is an investment project with high potential, which increasingly attracts more foreign companies that have detected the good behavior of the tourism industry in that country.
