In recent days the Asociación de Hoteles de Santo Domingo (Asonahores) expressed its recognition of the management of Celso Marranzini, executive vice president of the Dominican Corporation of State Electric Companies (CDEEE), for his constant support to the hotel and tourism sector.
The Association issued a statement in which it argues that its gratitude to the official is "for the continuous support to the hotel sector and the visible sensitivity towards the solution of the problems that afflict the capital of the Dominican Republic and that negatively and forcefully affect the evolution of tourism."
Likewise, the AHSD highlighted the installation of new luminaires in two important areas of tourist incidence: the Avenida de Las Américas and the Malecón, one of the main tourist resources that this city has and that allows the enjoyment of the sea front by its own and visitors.
"Mr. Marranzini acted in good faith at the request of the Hotel Association of Santo Domingo, after expressing the importance of having illuminated this important avenue where the most representative hotel chains are concentrated and where tourists who visit us walk to enjoy the breezes of the Caribbean Sea, " explained the union.
The organization added that lighting is essential if you want to provide security to passers-by not only tourists but citizens in general.
