Under the program of refurbishment of buildings and residential complexes, the modernization of building 59 of the San Francisco urbanization, in Zulia, Venezuela, was delivered in recent days. The event was presided over by the governor of Zulia Pablo Pérez.
The official explained that this type of development is carried out at the initiative of the official sphere since the inhabitants of these residential units do not have the resources to carry out major maintenance to the structures.
He also indicated that the modernization works consist of works of conditioning the façade with projected granite, waterproofing of the roof slab and its corresponding coating with reflective paint, conditioning of metal structures, demolition of old pipe and installation of a new one with PVC elements, installation of aluminum drawers and general repairs in the common areas.
The project was executed by the Zulian Housing Institute (Inzuvi) and had an investment of more than US$200,000.
