Mexico. Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, confirmed its position as a leader in the Data Center industry by presenting an updated efficient cooling offering, which stood out for the launch of EcoAisle as a solution that will renew the market, operating processes and the benefits of energy efficiency.
To more than 100 customers, partners and leaders in the information technology sector, Schneider Electric unveiled its new designs for Data Centers, with a special focus on cooling trends and innovations, highlighting the competitive advantages of products such as Eco IL, EcoBreeze, InRow Overhead and the renewed Uniflair offering.
The extensive catalog presented by the French multinational stood out for the launch of EcoAisle, a system that provides containment solutions for data center environments with row cooling systems, for the entire room and external. This ensures that efficiency can be optimized from the rack and row, to the room and the entire building.
"Avoiding the mixing of hot and cold air is key to any cooling strategy for an efficient data center. When EcoAisle is used with cooling systems for the entire room, the efficiency of the system is maximized by avoiding the mixture of hot and cold air, and balancing the air circulation to enable higher operating temperatures and reduce the energy consumption of fans, "said Carlos Zaldívar, Business Development Manager of Cooling Solutions for Data Center of Schneider Electric Latin America.
In addition to the launch of this new solution, Schneider Electric presented the innovations in the portfolio of Uniflair, one of the most important companies in data center cooling that was incorporated into the catalog of the French multinational in 2010.
The combination of both portfolios has created a robust and complete range of comprehensive solutions of Cooling, Chillers, Access Flooring and in-row technologies (EcoBreeze). In addition, this collaboration strengthened the research capabilities of both companies and their build-to-order services for mission-critical applications.
These solutions have allowed users to have the certainty of acquiring quality, reliability and customization products, to strengthen the data center cooling business in their companies with room architectures, flexible cooling for low densities and non-IT loads; row, efficient cooling for low to high densities; and rack, decided cooling and air distribution for racks or hot spots.
End users, directors and IT managers confirmed their loyalty to the brand by having the certainty that they are acquiring quality, reliability and adaptation products from Schneider Electric, a company that has positioned itself as a provider of "end to end" solutions that are energy efficient, scalable, flexible, reliable and suitable for all types of environment.
