
International. Independent research firm Gartneranalyzed 11 Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) and released the ideal parameters these systems should have.
Gartner identified five basic areas of functionality in its software comparison that are key to determining its quality. These are: real estate administration, construction project management, space management, maintenance management and sustainability.
The report also selected the market-leading property management software companies. To reach this conclusion, extensive and detailed questionnaires were carried out with 11 companies and 45 reference clients were interviewed.
Among the companies highlighted by the report as leaders in this type of services are Archibus, IBM Tririga, Manhattan Software and Bricsnet.
According to Gartner, the companies identified as leaders "have strength in their applications and technological platform, demonstrate a high level of product quality and reliable service, have solid operational, organizational and financial stability capabilities, have a global reach and offer a vision to their customers that they need. This is reflected in a robust development plan."
In addition, the report indicates that it is ideal that these systems have an effective integration, that they operate ideally from a single database with a common user interface, in addition to including workflow tools and the possibility of making customized reports.
