Spain. Tourism asset management tools, integrated Wi-Fi solutions and applications hosted in the cloud, were some of the technological offers that were presented within the framework of FiturTech, a space dedicated to the different advances in technology within the Fitur Tourism Fair.
During the event held in Madrid, from January 28 to February 1, technology and its impact on the tourism industry was one of the main topics and the ideal scenario for various companies to publicize their latest developments.
For example, the company Wifisafe presented its Wifi Hotspot solution for Hotels, with which it is possible to manage, administer, control and integrate users, Wi-Fi devices and their billing. Similarly, Wifisafe spokespeople gave some recommendations when analyzing whether it is necessary to update an organization's Wi-Fi networks.
"You have to ask yourself four questions in order to know if the offer fits what is needed: does the network allow you to manage all the users of the hotel?, manage all the service areas?, control all the network access points?, integrate and bill with a HOTEL PMS (Property management System)?", they said from the company.
For its part, the company Gestión de Activos Turísticos exhibited some of its management tools; mainly the Wearehotel platform, which includes a cloud-based PMS, booking modules, accounting, administrative and financial management, outsourced services center, restaurant solutions, maintenance services and room service.
