International. Satel Spain has presented within its energy efficiency solutions the SenNet Climate Savings and SenNet Refrigeration Savings systems, which allow an average saving of 40% in air conditioning and 30% in refrigeration equipment.
Both solutions are based on the optimization of the compressor operating time, by installing a control unit with two NTC sensors, one for the ambient temperature and one for the cold air outlet temperature, which allow to apply an algorithm of detection of the optimum point of the gas compression to eliminate the non-productive phases of the compressor cycle. The installation of the control unit is fast, 2 hours, and non-intrusive.
In the case of air conditioners, the system is applicable to any type of commercial equipment, whether inverter or not, split type of wall or ceiling, as well as in duct systems, with the exception of centralized water chillers. In the case of refrigerators, the system is applicable to industrial refrigerators in any sector, for example in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as food and beverage chambers, refrigerated islands, heated wine cellars, etc.
The system is offered with a 3-year warranty and has a repayment period usually of less than 12 months, obtaining significant economic savings and environmental protection. The solution is proven with installations in more than 25 countries. It uses Coolnomix control units based on the internationally patented ORS (Optimized Refrigerant Supply) algorithm.
For the measurement and verification of savings, the SenNet DL170 concentrator is used, compatible with the most important energy platforms on the market, including the option of Integrated All-In-One energy management platform.
