International. A new solution from Tesa Assa Abloy allows companies to manage their access with their mobile. From now on a smartphone, with NFC technology, can replace keys or employee cards in both large corporations and SMEs.
It is an innovative solution developed by Tesa Assa Abloy for Vodafone business customers. Just by downloading the Vodafone Wallet app you can manage the access of permanent or occasional staff to those corporate venues (offices, meeting rooms, offices, etc.) that have an electronic access control system.
The main advantages for companies with this new functionality are savings, comfort and security. In case of loss of the mobile (less common than the loss of a card) the administrator will be able to very easily and with the use of an intuitive software delete the credential stored securely in the SIM. It also avoids unnecessary costs in time and money such as replacing keys or processing new cards.
With this innovation, Tesa Assa Abloy remains at the forefront of technology within the business and institutional sectors. Its SMARTair access control system, which allows the control and security of all the doors of an office building with an intelligent contactless electronic credential, expands and turns the opening experience into a comfortable operation (any modification can be made remotely and it is not necessary to reprogram the lock), adaptable (the two options coexist: nfc card and smartphone) and secure.
To enjoy this service Tesa Assa Abloy is responsible for installing its access control system through its network of approved installers SMARTair and Vodafone will provide employees with NCF smartphones suitable to download the Vodafone Wallet application from Google Play.
