Axis Communications announced the launch of the latest addition to its AXIS Q61 Series PTZ line. With outstanding image quality with 4K Ultra HD resolution, fast pan/tilt and powerful zoom functions, the new AXIS Q6128-E is ideal for indoors, outdoors, low-light environments and harsh weather conditions. Perfect for different applications such as shopping malls, parking lots, stadiums, as well as for urban and perimeter surveillance.
PTZ dome network cameras feature Axis Sharpdome technology, which allows exceptional coverage of wide areas – both below and above the horizon line – and with plenty of detail when zooming. Sharpdome technology includes Axis' unique Speed Dry feature, which quickly removes water droplets from the dome glass, for sharper images in rainy conditions. AXIS Q6128-E can withstand extreme temperature conditions thanks to the Arctic Temperature Control function, which allows the camera to operate in temperatures between -50ºC and 50ºC. Like all Axis cameras of the Q61 Series, AXIS Q6128-E has electronic Image Stabilization functionality that allows an excellent image, even in high-motion scenes.

Among its built-in video analytics features are motion detection and the Advanced Gatekeeper that allows the camera to detect an object in a specific area and enlarge the image at that point. In addition, its open application programming interface makes the camera compatible with third-party intelligent video applications through the Application Developer Partner Program (ADP)
