International. Siemens presents its most innovative solutions to protect critical infrastructures, prevent cyberattacks and extinguish fires at the International Security Exhibition (SICUR), which runs until February 26 at Feria de Madrid (IFEMA).
Solutions that aim to curb the different threats, both physical and cyber, that can be faced by structures such as power plants, industrial plants, water supplies, airports or Oil & Gas facilities, among many others. To combat these risks, it has developed new applications from its Building Technologies, Digital Factory and Security Company Divisions, Tecosa.
Siveillance VMS is an intelligent video management platform capable of responding to the needs of CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) for both small venues and large locations with multiple locations dispersed geographically. This platform incorporates the Siveillance SiteIQ Analitycs - Perimeter Security Essentials video analysis plug-in, which offers high intrusion detection rates and reduced false alarm rates in perimeter security applications.
Through this platform, the different headquarters can be managed centrally and incorporates a video analysis with high rates for the detection of intruders and reduced rates of false alarms. An ideal solution to protect the perimeter of critical infrastructures, such as Oil & Gas facilities, airports, ports or nuclear power plants, among others.
Siemens will also show, on the one hand, its latest versions of video analysis for perimeter security of large areas (Siveillance SiteIQ WA), with the possibility of integration of short-range surface wave radars, the unmanned aerial system or drone, from Aeryon Labs, among other equipment. On the other hand, you can also see the inspection and detection equipment for any security demand, from scanners or X-ray arcs to drug and explosive trace detectors.
In the field of fire protection, the company will present Sinorix H2O Jet, an extinguishing system through the use of constant discharge water and nitrogen (CDT), which allows a class B fire extinguishing, flammable liquids, both in closed rooms and in rooms with openings.
In addition, Siemens has developed new applications for the maintenance of fire protection systems such as Sinteso Mobile and Sinteso Test, which allow access to detection systems from any mobile phone or tablet, so that the installation can be monitored and, depending on the user's permissions, operated.
