International. Gewiss has just launched a new family of waterproof LED luminaires, its name is Smart and its field of application is that of the traditional fluorescence luminaires currently obsolete. One of these possibilities is its compactness, through a stylized shape of very low profile, 74 mm, which gives it a distinctive elegance, even for tertiary and retail environments, as well as a lightness highly valued by the professionals who work them.
Another example of innovation is that it cannot be opened to access the interior since it has a life of 80,000 h and L70 B10. The Smart diffuser and the body, polycarbonate IK08, form a whole by using a specific adhesive applied by automatic machine, thereby reducing the number of components and thereby increasing their reliability. All this allows to obtain an IP66/IP69 tightness, compatible with cleaning by pressure washer for continuous cleaning and consequent maintenance of light levels.
Designed for the energy update of existing facilities, it has solutions that minimize the intervention time, interfering to a minimum in the production processes:
- Fixing system by means of movable flanges with a very wide margin of longitudinal regulation, so that it uses the same fixing points of the solution to be replaced.
- Three lengths identical to those of the fluorescence devices of 18W, 36W and 58W, to be replaced, so that the gap is exactly the same.
- Versions with through wiring for linear installation, in the Opal diffuser version
- Accessories also for wall mounting with inclinations of 30º and 45º
- Two types of diffuser, Translucent and Opal for visual comfort
- High colour rendering rate IRC>80
- Electrical connection via quick connector and irreversible mounting
For Smart, Gewiss has made a strong investment, creating a totally new assembly line in which all processes have been automated, thus reducing the human factor to a minimum. It is available in Stand Alone and DALI regulation versions, with the appearance of the model with switch for emergency lighting being imminent. As standard, the light is 4000ºK but they can also be supplied in other shades, on request, such as 5700ºK and 3000ºK.
SMART has the highest quality accreditation, granted by ENEC and a guarantee of up to five years without extra costs
