Fluke Corporation announced the launch of the new Fluke 1660 Series multifunction facility testers, part of the Fluke Connect form family, designed to perform fast and efficient checks of key local regulations, protect devices that may remain inadvertently connected to the system, and facilitate collaboration by sharing results via a smartphone.
The Fluke 1664 FC incorporates the patent-pending Insulation PreTest™ feature, which detects if a device is connected to the system being tested and stops the test while visually warning.
Another novelty is an Auto Test function that performs five installation tests in the same sequence, including automatic tests of type A, CA and RCD, thus ensuring compliance with installation regulations. Reduces the number of manual connections, the possibility of errors and the test time by up to 40% compared to previous Fluke models.
Checker measurements can be transmitted wirelessly to the Fluke Connect app on smartphones or tablets, and can be automatically uploaded to the FlukeCloud™ storage system. Measurements can be combined with data from other Fluke Connect test devices to create and share comprehensive workplace reports via email.
