International. Philips Lighting announced the launch of the latest innovation of the Philips Hue family, a sensor that makes it possible to control the lights according to movement. The Philips Hue motion sensor is a simple but versatile way to interact with home lighting without the need for switches and without complex installations.
The Philips Hue motion sensor is completely wireless, with great battery life, magnetic and adjustable. It links directly to the Philips Hue app. Fully integrated into the Philips Hue Lighting System, and compatible with all Philips Hue family products, up to 12 sensors can be connected for complete coverage of the entire home. Simply, placing it on a table or shelf, gluing it with a magnet on any metal surface or placing it on any wall or ceiling, and adjust the direction of detection.
The Philips Hue motion sensor controls lighting through hand movement and also footsteps. It has a great responsiveness, thanks to its instant reaction of no more than 0.5 seconds, so you will not have to grope for the switch in the dark. Being blinded by a powerful light and waking up your family in the middle of the night is a thing of the past, as you can customize the settings, giving your home a sweet light at bedtime and accompanying you in your favorite corner during the day.
Thanks to its sunlight detection device, the Philips Hue motion sensor senses if there is enough clarity in the room and only activates the lights if necessary, helping to save energy. It glows in the evenings when you head to your room with your hands full, and it becomes dim at night when you wake up to go to the bathroom.
The new Philips Hue motion sensor will be available at the end of October 2016, and its price will be 39.99 euros.
