International. Philips Lighting is committed to connected lighting as an element to create the offices of the future. After the last announcement of the keys to design workspaces, within the 'Future Office' program, connected lighting is presented as an element that allows creating work environments that can anticipate and respond to the specific needs of users at all times, creating levels of comfort, personalization, security and productivity as had not happened before.
These systems are formed by intelligent luminaires that connect to the communications network of the building, becoming the best platform to exchange information, in order to optimize the use of the workspace. The connectivity of the system opens the way to the IoT (Internet of Things), enabling new forms of integration, collaboration, innovation and socialization among its employees.
Communication with the system is done through software that can be configured to control lighting levels and other integrated parameters (such as temperature and audiovisuals), as well as to monitor and manage the use of spaces. Its installation is possible on a smartphone, a mobile device or a computer, providing accessibility and ease of use.
