International. 3M, through its Traffic and Safety Division, took advantage of its participation in the presentation of the "Guide to achieve a correct Signaling of Works" to address the importance of the visibility of traffic signs and show how its technology helps to guarantee safety and minimize the danger for construction workers.

The guide, which is the second module of the Safety Notebooks of the Association of Manufacturers of Metallic Traffic Signs (AFASEMETRA), aims to raise awareness of the importance of adequate signage in the areas of works that often represent an unexpected situation with speed limitation, modification of routes and presence of obstacles and workers on the road.
3M offers fluorescent colored retroreflective sheets and high-visibility backgrounds to increase safety in construction areas, both day and night. These products with 3M microprismatic technologies provide good chromatic contrast, high luminance factor, high retroreflection (Class 3) and long life in adverse conditions.
3M's solutions for this type of special signage in construction areas include retroreflective sheets for traffic signs and beaconing (cones, beacons, divergent beacons, cylindrical beacons, median barriers, bollards and directional curve panels), headlamp catchers and elements for prefabricated road markings, and removable when the pavement is final.
