International. ITH and iEnergy have developed iSave Hotel, a tool for the application of the ITH Model of Tourism Sustainability, with the support of the Secretary of State for Tourism in Spain. Its objective is to promote the progressive incorporation of measures that improve the economic, social and environmental sustainability of Spanish tourist accommodation.
Through this platform, they provide valuable information to the owners, managers and maintenance technicians of hotels and tourist establishments, as well as architects, engineers and other actors involved in the rehabilitation of this type of buildings.
iSaveHotel will advise on the implementation of the most appropriate actions and measures in each case in terms of energy management.
It is possible to access the tool through the website, making a brief registration and a basic survey, which will allow them to know immediately the energy status of the hotel establishment, its degree of sustainability and the aid and subsidies to be able to carry out the improvements that are recommended in a comprehensive proposal. All this at no cost.
Within the framework of this project, the ITH-iEnergy Technical Advisory service is also available to the more than 14,000 hotel establishments in Spain, which will advise them on the implementation of the most appropriate actions and measures in each case in terms of rehabilitation and energy efficiency, counting on the main solution providers in the sector.
