The Playa Blanca project, also called the "sexiest in Panama", has just begun and should open its first phase in December 2008 with a luxury condo-resort of 144 rooms and suites, a spa, gym and other amenities. The Panamanian RG Inmobiliaria will build the Nikki Beach Resort and Residences Playa Blanca, which will have 500 units. Likewise, Nikki Beach, through its newly created hotel division, announced that it plans to open a second hotel, in Panama City, and resorts in Costa Rica, Mexico and Grenada in the Americas, Portugal and Spain in Europe, and Cape Verde in Africa.
