The IHG group has opened its first property for the passenger service of the Santiago de Chile International Airport "Arturo Merino". Located just across the terminal, the 112-room, five-story hotel is the first of the brand to open in the vicinity of a Latin American airport. The hotel is the eighth Talbot-owned establishment operating under an IHG brand, managed by the same firm through licensing. The other seven hotels belong to the Holiday Inn Express brand and are located in Puerto Madero, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in Iquique, Concepción, Antofagasta, Puerto Montt, Santiago and Temuco, in Chile.
