Additionally, Barceló is betting on the business segment and increasing the number of hotels in the urban area of the region, as it has been doing in Europe. Today the chain has establishments in the cities of Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic; San José, in Costa Rica, and Guatemala City, in Guatemala, and the latter in Managua, Nicaragua.
The Barceló Managua has 147 rooms, three meeting rooms and an executive room with capacity for up to 410 people. This is owned by the Amano International Group, which has invested 10 million dollars, and is incorporated into the chain under management.
