The company Revolutions Peru, of American and Irish capitals, announced that the first seven-star hotel in Peru will open in 2009 in Cuzco. This will be a boutique establishment that will have 200 luxury rooms, restaurant, spa and business center, among others.This project is part of the twelve luxury hotels that will be inaugurated in this department in 2009. In the first quarter, the Libertador Peru chain will open the Urubamba Luxury Collection, located in the Sacred Valley; while with national capitals the rio Sagrado boutique hotel will be put into operation, the Marriot will also have a five-star venue.
Between May and June there will be the opening of another five-star boutique hotel of the Acqua Hotel Resort Spa chain, which restored a seventeenth-century colonial house that will have an investment of 7 million dollars.
For its part, in mid-2009, Hilton Hotels Corporation will begin the construction of another five-star located just four blocks from the Plaza de Armas and Aranwa Sacred Valley will build an equal one in the Sacred Valley and a luxury one in the city that will be ready in 2010.
