Construction began on the new Hotel Urbano on Brickell in Miami, United States, budgeted to begin operation in the fall. The venue, which will be managed by Portfolio Hotels & Resorts, was designed to reflect the multi-cultural heart of Miami.Its location will allow it to become a popular destination for business professionals and residents, given the hotel's proximity to sites such as Key Biscayne, Brickell Aveneu, Coconut Grove and South Miami.
The hotel will feature 65 rooms designed by Marcie DeLa Rosa, adapted bathrooms, rooms with balconies, outdoor pool, private cabanas, and outdoor dining. You will also have two comfortable meeting rooms for business meetings and restaurant service with South Florida cuisine.
"The personality and attitude of the Hotel Urbano is optimistic and informal, and we will make this the preferred place for business trips and vacations," said Helmut Horn, president of Portfolio Hotels.
