The first accommodation of the US chain in Central America was inaugurated less than a month ago in Panama, under the name of Le Méridien Panama. The new accommodation will be located in Panama City, on Avenida Balboa, in the financial area of the town and close to the canal that bears the same name of the country.
The Méridien has 111 rooms and suites, restaurants, bars and lounges, as well as conference rooms, recreation areas, massage and whirlpool rooms, swimming pool and gym.
The Le Méridien brand was acquired by Starwood in 2005 and has 104 hotels in 50 countries.
