An establishment that will be added to the desire Hotels boutique collection will be opened in 2011 in the Dominican Republic.This new project, The Cliffs Ocean Resort, will be the latest international addition to its boutique collection, which will be located on the north coast of this nation and 40 miles from Puerto Plata International Airport.
The accommodation, which will be the first in the LEED-certified Caribbean country, will have private terraces overlooking the ocean and mountains, 102 rooms, golf course, tennis courts, equestrian center, two ocean-facing saltwater pools, and the Beach Club that will have a bar, smoking lounge and an area for teenagers.
The Cliffs Ocean Resort will be built on a 25-acre oceanfront property, offering 24-hour room service, as well as a fitness center, helipad, and shopping area.
