In February, Sandals' new property in the Caribbean officially opened its doors for guests to enjoy the tranquility of its facilities and nature.The hotel is located on a 500-acre property in Great Exuma, features a Greg Norman-designed golf course, a marina that can accommodate yachts up to 240 feet in length, pool with Jacuzzi, water bar, five restaurants, croquet course, among other amenities and recreation areas.
Sandals Emerald Bay was conceived in August 2009 when the company purchased the former Four Seasons Resort, in which it invested $14 million in expansions and remodeling.
Sandals' fourteenth Caribbean resort offers butler service for all 183 suites, plus beach and pool cabanas, a diving program, a spa with 17 rooms, and a fleet of bicycles for guests.
