In August 2010 the Embassy Suites by Hilton Valencia-Downtown hotel was inaugurated, located in the state of Carabobo, north of the city of Valencia in the heart of the cosmopolitan, financial and commercial area, called El Viñedo. Just 20 minutes from Arturo Michelena International Airport, the property features 203 two-bedroom suites, restaurants, bar, wired and wireless internet, gym, swimming pool and 24-hour laundry. The rooms are characterized by their modern style, set by a special line of furniture and colored lights, they are also equipped with mp3 equipment, safe, minibar and kitchenette.
This establishment is not only close to the commercial and business centers of the city, but also to the beaches and historical and cultural sites such as the Forum of Valencia, the Sambil and Metropolis shopping centers, the Fernando Peñalver Metropolitan Park and the Morrocoy National Park.
According to Jim Holthouser, global head of Embassy Suites Hotels and Hilton Worldwide's Full Service Brands, the chain will continue to strengthen its presence in Latin America, where it currently has locations in Bogota (Colombia), Juan Dolio (Dominican Republic), Mexico City (Mexico); Dorado and San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Caracas (Venezuela). "We have already planned the development of hotels in San Jose, Costa Rica and Panama City for the next few years."
