The Gaia Hotel will be a new option of the hotel offer for business tourism in Bogotá, which will seek to offer a functional space with the comforts and benefits that a corporate traveler needs and at a price accessible to most budgets.One night will cost about US $ 108 and will offer, "a good room, a good bathroom and a good breakfast with a very good price," explained Felipe Lloreda, president of Unika, the company promoting the project, who stressed that the executive uses the hotel to "sleep, bathe, send emails and go out to do business or make a purchase."
The Gaia Hotel will have 128 rooms, its construction began in September 2010 with an investment of about US$12 million and the project is expected to be completed in March 2012. This accommodation will be the first of a dozen hotels of this type to be built in Colombia to stimulate growth in the business tourism segment.
