The new Holiday Inn Cartagena Morros will have twelve floors and will incorporate 140 rooms, swimming pool, restaurant, gym, five conference rooms, two meeting rooms, bar, business center and direct access to the beach.
For Rodrigo Puente, president of Conceptos Urbanos S.A, the firm in charge of the project, "the interior design of the hotel establishment is modern, with spacious and fresh spaces, created by one of the most recognized interior designers in Colombia".
Additionally, the IHG executives who recently visited the work, argued that "Cartagena is one of the key cities, not only in Colombia, but in the region. In addition, its beaches, rumba and historical sites offer ample opportunities both in the world of business and conventions, as well as on holiday trips."
The new Holiday Inn Cartagena Morros will be open to the public in June 2011.
