Hoteles.com made a report in which it selected the five hotels in the world that have what they called the "more" factor, that is, that they comply with innovative standards in infrastructure, prices, contribution to the environment, among other qualifiers.
Below is the list of the five "Most" hotels on the planet:
- The tallest hotel in the world: the 5-star Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong (photo). It rises 490 meters from the ground and operates between the 102nd floor to the 118th floor of the International Trade Center. The hotel allows guests to enjoy an unparalleled view of the Skyline and luxurious service. Rooms at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong start at $528 per night.
- The most expensive hotel suite in the world: Hotel Royal Pent-house Suite, Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, Switzerland (5 stars). It has a nightly rate of US80,000 (breakfast not included). The suite covers the entire upper floor of the hotel and has 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and a private exercise center. It has a view of the city, Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc.
- The most eco-friendly hotel in the world: the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers Hotel in Denmark (4 stars). It received the Skal International Eco-tourism award for being the most ecological hotel. It features the largest integrated solar panel building in Northern Europe and the first groundwater-powered heating system in Denmark. The Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers is the only hotel in Denmark that is carbon neutral. It is estimated to avoid 1.4 tons in carbon emissions per year. Rooms start at $169 per night.
- The largest hotel in the world: the Hotel Izmailovo Hotel Gamma-Delta, Izmailovo Hotel Complex (3 stars) in Moscow, Russia. This structure has more than 7,500 rooms and can accommodate more than 10,000 guests, thanks to its four 35-story buildings.

- The coldest hotel in the world: the Hotel Icehotel, Jukkasjarvi, Sweden (3 stars). This property has its rooms built entirely from ice and snow. Built from scratch every winter, this hotel offers 60 cold rooms, with temperatures ranging from –5ºC to 8ºC.
