The Hilton Garden Inn will be located in the city of Barranquilla, in northern Colombia, and it is expected that by the second half of 2013 what would be the fifth project of the brand in Latin America and the fourth Hilton in the coffee country will be operational.
The new establishment, managed by Hilton Worldwide as part of its expansion plan in the region, will be developed by Hernando Heredia Arquitectos Ltda and will be located about 40 minutes from ernesto Cortissoz International Airport, as well as being part of a multi-use complex with offices, a shopping center with 126 stores, seven movie theaters and parking lots.
It will feature 114 rooms, ergonomic chairs, lcd TVs with high-definition flat screen, clock with MP3 connection, a spacious desk and a "hospitality center" that features a mini refrigerator and tea and coffee station.
In recreation it includes an outdoor pool, a massage area, and a gym free of charge to guests, with cardio and resistance training equipment and with which guests can do yoga, pilates and exercises in the privacy of their rooms or in the gym.
