The first Waldorf Astoria hotel in Latin America will be located in Panama, belongs to the firm Hilton Worldwide and is expected to open before the end of 2012.
"Putting on such a recognized brand reinforces our commitment to unparalleled service and quality," said Danny Hughes, Hilton's vice president of Latin America.
With 248 rooms, the establishment has already begun to receive reservation requests for 2013 and calls have not been long in coming thanks to its excellent location in one of the most commercial areas of the Panamanian capital and that offers a range of entertainment: it will be only 25 minutes from the Tocumen International Airport very close to the financial district.
To continue with the series of possibilities offered by the new hotel, Hughes warns that the Waldorf Astoria Panama will be very close to the Cinta Costera, which offers the opportunity to explore the surroundings, either walking, running, practicing a sport or in a time of leisure.
The place has a wonderful view towards the Pacific Ocean and 20 minutes away you can find the Panama Canal.
For those who enjoy more cultural tourism, the hotel will also be only 10 minutes from the historic center of the capital, which has been recognized by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.
In addition to its advantageous location, the establishment will have multiple services inside: spa, recreation and relaxation services, outdoor pool, gym, rooms equipped for small social events and business center.
