Mexico. With the inauguration next Saturday, January 31, of the four-star hotel with 101 rooms, Barceló JF Puebla, the Spanish chain Barceló will add twelve properties in Mexican territory and 30 throughout the Latin American and Caribbean region.
The hotel was built in 2014 but will operate under the Barceló brand thanks to a concession contract.
According to José Brichs, Corporate Commercial Director of Barceló Hotels & Resorts in Latin America, "the incorporation of this new project means the reactivation of our expansion in Latin America. It also confirms our willingness to continue growing, especially in Mexico and Central America, where we are analyzing several projects, mainly urban."
The orientation of the hotel is mainly towards business tourists, especially since the proximity to Mexico City and direct flights between Puebla and important American cities such as Houston and Dallas, provide a constant flow of professionals who travel to the city for business meetings.
