Latin America. Decameron is close to opening its first hotel in Haiti, the former Club Med, which closed 20 years ago, and which became Club Indigo, with more than a kilometer and a half of beach and almost 400 rooms.
The chain of Terranum and Alejandro Santo Domingo will use for this resort its most luxurious brand Royal Decameron, which would add its 45th unit worldwide, as it is worth remembering the presence in Africa of Decameron.
The chain's other projects to continue with its ambitious expansion plan include new hotels in Medellin, Jamaica and Chile, some of them with attached convention centers, as is the case in about half of Decameron's establishments.
Decameron relies for this ambitious development on the channel of agencies, which continue to account for around half of its total sales, while it does not contemplate in the short term to expand its presence in the most famous destinations today in the Caribbean, Cancun, Riviera Maya and Punta Cana, although in the medium term for the Mexican Caribbean.
